适用范围
本标准规定了立式水轮发电机用活塞式机械制动器(以下简称制动器)的系列、标注型式、基本尺寸、技术要求、试验方法及检验规则。
本标准规定的制动器具有制动和顶起两种功能。
本标准适用于有制动和顶起转动部分要求的立式水轮发电机。对于无顶起功能要求、不设锁定机构，但有强迫制动停机要求的灯泡式水轮发电机，可参照使用。
凡木标准未规定的事项，均应符合GB/T 7894中的有关规定。
