【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversthetypes,physicalproperties,anddimensionsofcellularpolypropyleneintendedforuseasthermalinsulationfortemperaturesfrom-150to+240x00B0;F(-101to+116x00B0;C).1.2Theuseofthermalinsulationmaterialscoveredbythisspecificationisregulatedbycodesthat,whenadoptedbyanauthorityhavingjurisdiction,addressfirepropertiesforspecificapplications.Note18212;Bothfirepropertiesandspecificfire-test-responsecharacteristicsmaybeaddressedbyspecifications,wherecodesorgovernmentregulationsdonotapply.1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.4Thephysicalpropertiesaddressedbythisspecificationareimpactedbyenduseconditions.Fordesignpurposes,obtainphysicalpropertiesfromthemanufacturer.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
