【摘要】:Coversswitchesforinstallationanduseinhazardous(classified)locationsClass1,Division1,GroupsA,B,C,andD,andClassIIDivision1,GroupsE,F,andG,inaccordancewithAmericanNationalStandardNationalElectricalCode,ASNI/NFPA70.Theserequirementscoversnapandsimiliarswitchesrated60amperesorlessat250voltsorless;30amperesorlessat600voltsorless;and2horsepowerorlessat600voltsorless.Theserequirementsapplytoswitchesforhazardouslocationsunderthefollowingatmosphericconditions:anambienttemperturebetweenminus25oC(minus13oF)andplus40oC(plus104oF),anoxygenconcentrationofnotgreaterthan21percentbyvolume,andanominalbarometricpressureofoneatmosphere.Theserequirementsdonotcoverknife,enclosed,clock-operated,ormagnetically-opeatedswitches,orindustrialcontrolequipmentsuchasauxiliarydevicesandmagneticormanualmotorcontrollers.
